Gerda doors are engineered to deliver security, durability, and long-lasting performance. Each door features a robust aluminium frame with a steel door sash, finished with a sleek aluminium outer skin. This combination creates exceptional strength while ensuring stability in all weather conditions. This means your door is less likely to warp or twist, even during periods of very hot or cold temperatures.

For added protection, every Gerda door comes with a two-bolt auxiliary locking system and achieves both RC2 and RC3 security ratings, to provide reliable protection and reassurance for your home.

Choosing a colour for your front door

Gerda doors come in thirteen stunning colours, giving you the flexibility to match both sides with the same shade or choose a different finish inside to complement your home’s interior décor. The colour you select can enhance your home’s character and create a warm, inviting entrance.

If you are looking for a modern front door, we offer three contemporary greys: Anthracite, Dark Anthracite, and Steel Grey, colours that pair beautifully with a variety of exterior stonework. Black is timeless and sophisticated and never goes out of style and White reflects light, making the entrance feel bright and welcoming, even in narrow or shaded areas.

If you like the natural warmth of timber, you can choose one of our eight woodgrain finishes. From rich Alpine Walnut to light Turner Oak, these finishes capture the beauty of wood while providing the long-lasting durability of aluminium.

Beautifully bespoke front door designs

Gerda doors can be manufactured in sizes up to 1,130mm wide and 2,200mm high, creating an impressive entrance to your home. If you have a wider or taller opening, the design can include glazed side panels or a top light to increase the overall dimensions.

Some front door designs incorporate glazing with several glass designs including Clear, Satin, Satin with Clear Stripes, Reflex Brown, Reflex Graphite, and Mirrored Glass. These options allow light to enter your home while helping to maintain privacy.

If you would prefer a solid, unglazed door design, decorative grooves or brushed inox and black inlays can be included on the outside of your door. These details create subtle depth and texture, adding visual interest to the overall design.

Keyless door entry

Make coming home effortless with the Tedee electronic cylinder, available on our made-to-measure Gerda doors. Sleek and discreet, the Tedee unit is installed on the inside of your door and comes in Black or Silver to complement your hardware.

Once connected to your Smartphone, your door can unlock automatically as you approach, combining traditional mechanical security with modern smart technology for smooth, controlled access. No extra wiring is needed, as the system is powered by a small Wi-Fi hub that plugs directly into a standard power socket.

For added flexibility, your door can still be opened from the outside using a traditional key, giving you both convenience and security.
